Their Story

Connections Homes is dedicated to connecting young adults who have aged out of foster care, are homeless or otherwise unconnected to caring, stable families with committed adults who will walk with them through life.

We are focused on changing the outcomes for this forgotten population by encouraging individuals from within the community to step into their story and become lifelong, stable adult connections—someone who will always remember their birthday, be there for them to celebrate their successes, and always have a seat for them at their holiday table.

Chrisma’s Story

Chrisma took the brave step to become a part of Connections Homes in May of 2017. Finding the courage to admit that you need someone in your life, especially after a lifetime of pain and distrust, is one of the bravest things a young adult can do. We are so proud of Chrisma for taking that step and we were so honored that Donald & Tawana stepped into her story. Their love, care and connection to Chrisma have made a significant lifelong difference.

Kori’s Story

Kori took the brave step to become a part of Connections Homes in January of 2017. Finding the courage to admit that you need someone in your life, especially after a lifetime of pain and distrust, is one of the bravest things a young adult can do. We are so proud of Kori for taking that step and we were so honored that Dean & Rachel stepped into her story in March of 2017. Their love, care and connection to Kori have literally made an eternal difference.

Ebony’s Story

Ebony took the brave step to become a part of Connections Homes in 2015. Finding the courage to admit that you need someone in your life, especially after a lifetime of pain and distrust, is one of the bravest things a young adult can do. We are so proud of Ebony for taking that step and we were so honored that Andre & Ronetta stepped into her story. Their love, care and connection to Ebony have literally made a lifelong difference.
